Ajay Devgn, born Vishal Veeru Devgan on April 2, 1969, in New Delhi, India, is one of Bollywood’s most acclaimed and versatile actors, directors, and producers. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in the film industry—his father, Veeru Devgan, was a legendary stunt choreographer and action director—Ajay was exposed to cinema from a young age. He made his debut as a leading actor in 1991 with the action film Phool Aur Kaante, where his iconic split stunt between two motorcycles became an instant sensation and established him as a promising action hero. The film was a blockbuster, earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Throughout the 1990s, Ajay showcased his range with diverse roles in movies like Jigar (1992), Dilwale (1994), Suhaag (1994), and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), where he starred alongside Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan, earning critical acclaim for his restrained, emotional performance.
