Gurpreet Ghuggi

Gurpreet Singh Waraich, popularly known as Gurpreet Ghuggi, is a renowned Indian actor, comedian, and politician, celebrated for his contributions to Punjabi and Hindi cinema. Born on June 19, 1971, in Gurdaspur, Punjab, India, Ghuggi’s journey into the entertainment industry began in the early 1990s with theater performances. He gained significant recognition through television appearances, notably in the soap opera Parchhaven and the comedy show Ronak Mela.

His comedic prowess further shone through his video series, including Ghuggi Junction (2003) and Ghuggi Shoo Mantar (2004), which garnered widespread acclaim. Ghuggi made his film debut in 2002 with Jee Aayan Nu and went on to star in several successful Punjabi films such as Asa Nu Maan Watna Da (2004), Carry On Jatta (2012), and Ardaas (2016). His portrayal of meaningful characters in these films earned him critical appreciation and a dedicated fan base.
