Kajal Aggarwal

Kajal Aggarwal is a prominent Indian actress known for her work primarily in the Telugu and Tamil film industries, along with notable appearances in Bollywood. Born on June 19, 1985, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, she belongs to a Punjabi family. Her father, Vinay Aggarwal, is an entrepreneur in the textile business, while her mother, Suman Aggarwal, is a confectioner and Kajal’s business manager. Kajal also has a younger sister, Nisha Aggarwal, who was also briefly involved in the film industry.

Kajal completed her schooling at St. Anne’s High School, Mumbai, and later pursued her pre-university education at Jai Hind College. She graduated in Mass Media (specializing in advertising and marketing) from K.C. College, Mumbai. Initially aiming for a career in business or media, her modeling assignments led her to the film industry.

She made her acting debut in Bollywood with a minor role in “Kyun! Ho Gaya Na…” (2004) but gained fame in the South Indian film industry with “Chandamama” (2007) and her breakout performance in S. S. Rajamouli’s “Magadheera” (2009). “Magadheera” was a massive success and earned her several awards and wide recognition. Since then, she has been one of the leading actresses in South Indian cinema with hits like “Darling,” “Mr. Perfect,” “Thuppakki,” “Businessman,” “Jilla,” and “Temper.”
