Nithiin

Nithiin (birth name Nithin Kumar Reddy) is a renowned Indian film actor and producer who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. Born on March 30, 1983, in Nizamabad, Telangana, he is the son of renowned film distributor Sudhakar Reddy and Laxmi Reddy. With cinema deeply rooted in his family background, Nithiin was exposed to the film industry from an early age, sparking a deep passion for acting.

Nithiin made a sensational debut with “Jayam” (2002), directed by Teja. The film was a blockbuster hit and earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South, catapulting him into instant stardom. Following this, he starred in several films such as “Dil” (2003) and “Sye” (2004), both of which were commercially successful and critically appreciated. His charming on-screen presence, coupled with his natural flair for emoting, won him a loyal fanbase.

Despite a promising start, Nithiin’s career faced a series of flops and commercial setbacks during the mid-2000s. However, he remained persistent and focused on his craft. His major comeback came with the romantic entertainer “Ishq” (2012) opposite Nithya Menen, directed by Vikram Kumar. Following this success, Nithiin delivered several hits such as “Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde” (2013), “Heart Attack” (2014), and “A Aa” (2016), the latter directed by Trivikram Srinivas, which turned out to be one of the biggest hits of his career. His romantic hero image resonated well with the younger audience, and he was praised for his consistent performances and improvement in acting style.

In addition to acting, Nithiin also ventured into film production under his banner Shresht Movies, which has backed several successful projects.
