Rakul Preet Singh is a celebrated Indian actress and model who has carved a prominent place for herself in both South Indian and Hindi cinema. Born on October 10, 1990, in New Delhi, India, Rakul comes from a Punjabi family with an army background. Her father, Rajender Singh, served in the Indian Army, which instilled in her a sense of discipline from an early age. She completed her schooling at Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, and later pursued a degree in Mathematics from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi.

Rakul began her career in modeling during her college days, and her beauty and charm soon led her to participate in the Femina Miss India pageant in 2011, where she won five titles, including Miss Beautiful Smile. Her entry into films came with the Kannada film “Gilli” (2009), marking a modest debut in the entertainment world.
