Trisha Krishnan

Born on 4 May 1983 in Chennai (formerly Madras), Trisha Krishnan completed her schooling at Sacred Heart Matriculation School and earned a BBA from Ethiraj College for Women .She was discovered during her pageant days, winning Miss Salem and Miss Chennai in 1999, which led to a cameo in the Tamil film Jodi (1999) and later a Falguni Pathak music video in 2000.

Rise to Stardom
Trisha’s first leading role came opposite Suriya in Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002), which was commercially successful. She cemented her fame with Tamil hits like Saamy (2003) and Ghilli (2004), and Telugu blockbusters like Varsham (2004), Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), and Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule (2007), earning multiple Filmfare Awards.

Versatility & Critical Acclaim
Known for her diverse roles, Trisha received acclaim for performances in Abhiyum Naanum (2008), Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010), Kodi (2016), ’96 (2018), and most recently in Ponniyin Selvan: I & II (2022–2023), Leo (2023), and the web series Brinda (2024).She’s often dubbed the “Queen of South India,” and continues to earn critical accolades.

Personal Life & Humanitarian Efforts
Trisha remains unmarried and private about her personal life; she was previously engaged to Varun Manian and linked to Rana Daggubati.A vegetarian and animal lover, she supports PETA as a Goodwill Ambassador and is active in UNICEF initiatives.
