Trisha Krishnan (born 4 May 1983 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu) is one of the most iconic and enduring actresses of South Indian cinema, primarily known for her impactful work in Tamil and Telugu films. Born to Krishnan Iyer and Uma Iyer, she spent part of her childhood in New York but completed her schooling at Sacred Heart Matriculation School, Chennai, followed by a BBA from Ethiraj College for Women. Her journey to stardom began as a model, winning Miss Salem and Miss Chennai in 1999, and earning the “Beautiful Smile” subtitle at Miss India 2001.
